RIDE DETAILS
When:
New Year's Day, Sunday, January 1, 2012, 9 am.
Where:
Bicycle Sport Shop, 9900 W. Parmer Lane.
This is a social, at your own pace, ride. The full 50-mile route is to the Andice General Store and back, but riders can turn back at any point along Parmer. The route will be marked with signage and a turnaround point at ~ mile 12 for those who wish to ride 25 miles.
Cost:
$12, which includes 1 supported rest stop, post-ride food and 2 beer tickets.
What to Bring:
- Helmets are required
- We also recommend you bring a cell phone, health insurance card, money, and emergency contact information
Weather:
We'll update our Facebook and web page if inclement weather is predicted for ride and make a decision 24 hours before the ride if we need to cancel.
FAQ:
- Registration opens at 8:30 am. Store will be open from 8:30-9am for last minute purchases.
- Wrist bands and drink tickets will be distributed the morning of ride. No packet pick-up.
- Wheels down at 9am
- Parking available in grass area in front of store. Please be considerate of our business neighbors (many of them will be open). Street parking also available on Neenah Ave.
- Food and beverages will be served from 10:30 to 1:30. Rest Stops close at Noon. Event site closes at 2pm.
